workers and professionals, producing 25,000 pieces
of jewelry every month. Their state-of–the-art
infrastructure ensures excellent craftsmanship and

Leo Schachter is a new joint venture dedicated to
manufacturing the finest diamond jewelry for the
markets of the world.
Project
Kama manufactures diamond
jewelry, using primarily Leo Schachter diamonds,
and markets it to Leo Schachter’s customer base
through the Leo Schachter sales organization. They
require Video Conferencing between the USA and
Mumbai offices to interactively create new designs
for the world market.
Solution
The need for studying minute
jewelry design in detail has raised the need for
investing in a
Hi- Definition Video Conferencing
system. Neutron has installed the Polycom
Hi-Definition HDX 9002 in Kama’s Mumbai office.
The US based retailers of Leo Schachter have the
option to speak to and interactively confer with
the Kama designers at the Mumbai factories –
contingent to making expensive changes in designs,
before they are committed. The Hi-Definition
system captures all the minute intricacies of the
jewelry designs and displays them clearly and
distinctly. Also the senior management would
engage in management level conferencing sessions
to monitor and control the business KRA’s.
